  • PV EXP 301 (COMPLETE PROJECT MANAGEMENT)
  • LEARN THE USE OF SOFTWARE/PACKAGES BELOW
  1. Google Earth – aerial mapping software
  2. Auto Cad for Solar
  3. PV Sol Premium
  4. PV Syst
  5. MS Project (from PV EXP 301)

Course Content:

Complete End to End Service from Preliminary Design through to Installation and After Care.

 

A. Preliminary Design

  1. There is need to be proficient with use the following Software Packages for use in the Initial System Design
  • Google Earth – aerial mapping software
  • Auto Cad
  • PV Sol Premium
  • PV Syst
  • MS Project (from PV EXP 301)
  1. Initial system Design with the appropriate software package (from above)
  • Get all necessary information on site details. (GPS coordinates, Shading etc)
  • Initial consultation with Client to get electricity usage (Load) data for 12 months on Client premises
  • Identifying premises on aerial mapping software e.g (Google Earth)
  • Creating an indicative outline drawing fitting the brief received- (PV Sol)
  • calculating expected generation and consumption (PV Syst)
  • calculating costs working within your budget. (MS Project)
  • Energy surveys and audits,

BInitial Commercial Proposal to Client for Approval

Upon Approval by Client:

D. PROCUREMENT

Procurement must be done with following Objectives in mind:

E. INSTALLATION

Use dedicated Solar PV installation Expert team for Installation.

  • Skilled, experienced and fully qualified installers with up-to-date Health & Safety training
  • Knowledge and understanding based on Global Installation around the world
  • Limited disruption, working at times to suit you to minimise disruption and downtime
  • Work to a rigorous behaviour bond which is shared with all customers prior to each installation
  • Building Controls Installation
  • Supply Return on Investment Costing Table that clearly highlights your annual cost and energy savings and payback periods
  • Total energy consumption measured and highlighted against each of your existing energy sources at an additional cost
  • Calculation of your existing carbon footprint and energy cost per year for specific projects
  • Calculation of your revised annual carbon footprint and energy cost (based on a series of agreed assumptions) for specific projects
  • Calculation of your return-on-investment year by year to clearly demonstrate the financial benefits of choosing Solar energy solutions

F. Commissioning & handing over to Client Procedure includes

  • Verifying that the design meets the owner’s project requirements
  • Verifying that applicable equipment and systems are installed according to the contract documents, manufacturer’s recommendations, and industry accepted minimum standards
  • Verifying installing contractors perform adequate operations checkout
  • Verifying/documenting proper performance of equipment and systems
  • Verifying that the operations and maintenance documentation left on-site is complete
  • Verifying the owner’s operating personnel are adequately trained

G. Monitoring/Maintenance – On-going Support

organise on-going support after delivery of the Solar PV project in various ways by:

  • Remote Monitoring
  • Operation and Maintenance Contracts, e.g., Landscaping, Model Cleaning and Diagnostics
  • Replacement of faulty equipment and supply of spares
  • Dedicated response team.
